- +o JavaScript must be enabled in browser.
-
- +o Browser must be at Netscape 2.0 compatible.
-
- +o When a subform is displayed and the window is resized
- the previous form will be loaded.
-
- +o When the system is configured to use Netscape Mail,
- /usr/lib/sendmail is moved to /usr/lib/sendmail.bak. If
- now the user disables the Netscape Mail Server, the
- /usr/lib/sendmail.bak needs to be moved back to
- /usr/lib/sendmail manually.
-
- +o If the gateway product is installed and then de-
- installed, there are a number of hanging links left in
- the destination (/var/www/htdocs/webface/admin)
- directory. If there are no other products installed in
- this directory, the user needs to remove this directory
- manually.
-
- +o When using the Netscape SSL encryption feature with the
- gateway product (or any other server) the user is
- reminded that during the reboot process you will be
- prompted for the encryption password created during the
- installation of the SSL feature. For machines without
- graphics head this is problematical. For this
- situation, it is suggested that gateway be chkconfig'd
- off (/sbin/chkconfig webface off), and that the server
- be started by hand from a remote terminal (/usr/ns-
- home/httpd-gateway/start) after the boot process.
-
- +o When a specific Modem model (Hayes, Telebit,.. etc) is
- selected and configured, the actual setup underneath
- can sometimes use an equivalent other model instead.
- This is because a smaller than shown set of Modem
- models is available in the Dialers file. This will
- result in the user seeing a Modem model different than
- the one they had originally selected in the Modem
- configuration form at a later time.
